Executive Director, C&I Geothermal Solutions & Infrastructure (1099 Partnership)
Strategic Mandate & Value Proposition
Your mandate is to penetrate the C&I and institutional markets by positioning geothermal systems as a superior, high-efficiency, and low-carbon alternative to conventional HVAC and utility systems.
Elite Earning Potential: Access to an accelerated, uncapped commission structure, directly correlating rewards to the high value, technical complexity, and extended lifecycle of geothermal infrastructure contracts.
Path to Equity: Top performers who demonstrate consistent market leadership and revenue generation will be granted an exclusive path to equity ownership and executive leadership within the firm.
Entrepreneurial Command: The opportunity to establish and lead a dedicated business unit focused solely on geothermal development, building a valuable, long-term asset portfolio.
Core Responsibilities
Geothermal Project Origination: Drive the full development cycle for diverse geothermal solutions, requiring fluency across various deployment models:
Commercial Geo-Exchange (Ground Source Heat Pumps): Targeting large office, campus, and industrial facilities for heating and cooling optimization.
Direct-Use Geothermal: Identifying and structuring opportunities utilizing naturally occurring hot water or steam for process heat or district heating applications.
Geothermal Power Generation: Where applicable, originating opportunities for small-scale, distributed geothermal power (e.g., Binary cycle systems).
Financial Structuring & Modeling: Possess the capability to create, interpret, and defend complex financial models specific to geothermal projects, focusing on long-term CapEx amortization, operational expense reduction (OpEx), and lifecycle savings (LCS). Strong fluency in advanced Excel modeling is required.
Due Diligence Leadership: Lead project-level technical and commercial due diligence, focusing on subsurface risks, geological surveys, permitting complexity, and specialized drilling/loop installation feasibility.
Executive Client Management: Cultivate and close relationships with C-suite executives, institutional real estate developers, facilities engineers, and municipal authorities.
Ethical Governance: Maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct, serving as a pillar of integrity and transparency in a highly technical and capital-intensive sector.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 5+ years of high-value, B2B/C&I sales experience, with direct, specialized exposure to geothermal (GSHP/GeoExchange), large-scale HVAC, or complex energy infrastructure development.
Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer principles, subsurface drilling logistics, and the integration of geothermal systems with existing building infrastructure.
Financial Fluency: Proven ability to rapidly assimilate complex engineering data, calculate key project metrics (e.g., Coefficient of Performance, payback period based on energy savings), and present bankable proposals.
Drive: An entrepreneurial spirit motivated by significant wealth creation, technology adoption, and business partnership in the sustainable infrastructure domain.
