Core Responsibilities
Fleet Solution Origination: Drive the full development cycle for diverse EV charging solutions, requiring fluency across various charging levels and deployment types:
Level 2 (L2) & DC Fast Charging (DCFC): Structuring solutions for commercial fleets (delivery, service, logistics), workplace charging, and public C&I destinations.
Fleet Electrification Strategy: Consulting on vehicle-to-grid (V2G), smart charging, and energy management systems to minimize demand charges and optimize operational costs.
Utility Interconnection: Expertly navigating complex utility agreements, managing infrastructure needs (transformers, service upgrades), and leveraging utility incentive programs.
Financial Structuring & Modeling: Possess the capability to create, interpret, and defend complex financial models specific to EV infrastructure, focusing on fleet Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), utilization rates, OpEx savings, and available federal/state grants and incentives. Strong fluency in advanced Excel modeling is required.
Due Diligence Leadership: Lead project-level technical and commercial due diligence, focusing on site electrical capacity, local permitting, make-ready infrastructure requirements, and hardware selection (chargers, software, network providers).
Executive Client Management: Cultivate and close relationships with C-suite executives, Fleet Managers, Sustainability Officers, and real estate developers.
Ethical Governance: Maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct, serving as a pillar of integrity and transparency in a rapidly evolving, high-stakes technology sector.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 5+ years of high-value, B2B/C&I sales experience, with direct, specialized exposure to EV charging infrastructure, fleet management solutions, electrical distribution equipment, or advanced smart grid technologies.
Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of EV charging standards (e.g., CCS, NACS), utility tariffs (e.g., Time-of-Use), load management, and the operational needs of commercial fleets.
Financial Fluency: Proven ability to rapidly assimilate complex technical data, calculate key project metrics (e.g., utilization, ROI on infrastructure spend), and present bankable proposals.
